A nice sort of business.
Hmmmm...so, I've been relatively busy all week. You know, working hanging out with my favorite peeps, and what not.
Yesterday I worked from nine to three and then had to babysit for four o'clock. But, work, was good. It wasn't insanely busy for a Saturday morning and the girls and I had some interesting conversations in the back room. LoL. You can always count on Nancy to say absolutely whatever. Its rather funny.
For example her sentences normally start with the words:
"This is going to sound gross, BUT...."
And she'll then proceed from there. He He.
Babysittig was good as well.
We made home made pizzas for dinner. The boys were trying to make the pizzas the nice clean way that their Mom does with them, but I let them spread the flour over the whole table and was showing them how to throw it in the air, slam the dough it back down, and spread it around on their fists. There was a bit of a mess when we got done, but it was worth the shocked looks on their faces when I started pounding the dough on the table and tossing it in the air. The giggles that ensued made it worth the clean up as well.
Plus, I enlisted their help in tidying things up. They both got on the floor to clean the flour and dough while their pizzas cooked. Then they helped me to scrub the table. All three mini pizzas we made came out delicious, so not only did we have fun, but we also made a tastey dinner.
They were pretty pooped, so I let them watch the original Hulk TV series/movie that they had bought at Wal-Mart, some TV, and the beginning of Spiderman. I also let them stay up a half hour past bedtime. I had them in bed by quarter past eight or so, but then a thunder storm hit, so I had to calm some nerves. I told Jake that we could read a story while the strom was going and then he needed to go to sleep. Josh was cranky from his Swimmer's Ear, so I gave him some ear drops before I went in to read to Jake.
By eight forty, with the thunder storm gone, ear drops issued, and stories read, I walked in to find both of them passed out in their respective beds.
I read Harry Potter (I'm almost done with number four!) until Marybeth and Ronnie got back and then headed home, where it was lights out for me.
Yea, its been busy, but good. I've got a great job at Essentials. I love babysitting the kids I do. And I've got great friends and family members to hang out with when I'm not busy doing all that making money stuff.
Ohhh...and Aunt Mary has been asked to teach kindergarten, so I get to help make her classroom up and make all the little ones kindergarten experiences the best ever! Yay! How fun!
