Okay, now that I've got that diaryland Gollum impression out of my system, I must get down to business. Specifically, the true reason for this entry.
Right. You all remember back a couple of weeks ago when I wrote about my jury duty. Yup. How fun!
Well, my mother thought that it was insanely funny that I had to perform my civic duty. In fact, she probably found it funnier than most.
So, today, when I got home a bit ago, I grabbed the mail and what was sitting on the very top?
Oh...a jury summons for my mother!
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
Thats some funny shit.
Of course I just HAD to call her to let her know what was waiting for her. She didn't find it too funny. I think the phrase "You little asshole" issued forth from her lips at one point!
But, I don't care, because I went and was dismissed AND I don't have to go back for another three years.
