Sickness and shopping...weee!
Yeah, long time, no update. Sorry.
Been very busy, as usual.
I've got the flu currently. Well, I'm recovering now. I feel much better than I did Monday and yesterday, so I'll definetely be able to make it into class for tomorrow and Friday. I've got lots to get done between now and then though. Not to mention having to take the teacher's test on Saturday.
Speaking of which, I have not prepared one tiny little ounce for this thing. I just can not bring myself to get worried about it. I don't know why. I just don't feel like I'm going to not pass the thing, which is probably very hoity toity of me as so many of the girls in my Ed class who are inteligent have not passed this test. Oh well, we'll see how it goes. I'll probably review stuff Friday night and pretty much go in blind on Saturday.
Oy vey. Wish me luck.
Anyhow, I've suprised myself with the amount of Christmas shopping I've managed to get done with Thanksgiving not even having gone by yet. I'm rather proud actually and I got all of them wrapped last night while I was feeling super shitty.
Hmmm...some people sleep or whine when they don't feel good. Me? Well, I wrap Christmas presents.
I'm pretty much done with the baby. I may get another something, but I really shouldn't as I already got him a ton of stuff. My Mom is making out like a bandit this year, but I'll still pick up a few more things for her. My brother is all but done, maybe one more small something for him. Meredith is done and I just need to get Aunt Lo another bitty something. So that leaves Dad, Jess, Heather, Heidi, Karen, and the Grandparents to buy for yet. I already know what I'm getting everyone, minus Dad and the Grandparents, so it shouldn't be too bad.
Oh, and even better news. None of these gifts have gone onto my credit card. Nope. I've used my debit card and the money I already have to pay for everything. Wahoo.
All righty. I'm off to do some work and sleep some more. I hope Omi is working tonight so I don't have to. I may ask not to come in just so I can have one more night to rest before I got to class tomorrow.
Turkey Day is only a week away! Weeee!
