Whew...lots of stuff!

So, I'm sitting here in the tech lab at school and the current buzz surrounding me is amazing. You can definetely tell that the end of semester is upon everyone as the fingers rattling across the keyboards and the hushed voices swell to a very quiet roar.

And what am I doing?

Well, like, duh. Totally updating my much neglected diary. Hehe.

Heidi just asked who I was talking to. I was tempted to say myself, but didn't. ;)

Though her working hard on her art portfolio does make me feel somewhat guilty. I do have work to do, but I worked so damned hard and much this weekend that I feel like vegging at school for a bit.

Anyways, the most interesting part of my day so far has been the hour and a half commute I had to school this morning. Yup, I definetely left my house at 7:15 and did not get to school until almost nine o'clock this morning. You see, there was a dusting of snow on the ground, and apparently a ton of black ice, though I did not see any of this, so the people of MA forgot how to drive causing major backups on all the major and not so major roadways in Worcester County.

It was freaking unbelievable. There was no road that I was on that did not have some sort of traffic on it and, for the most part, everywhere you looked seemed to suddenly look like a million car parking lot. I wasn't too stressed, I just coulnd't beleive the absurdity of it all. I mean there were accidents, I do believe that, as once I hit Worcester the roads did become very slick, but there were none on the highway that I passed or saw. Park Ave was also a parking lot, the cause of which I have no idea, as, again, I did not see any accidents, or, even flashing lights.

And then to top it all off I did not see a single sander or plow on my way here. Like, hello. Nice job MA. Way to clear the roads for the safety of all.

Oh, and then, of course, I get to campus and people forget how to park. I know it was hard to see the yello lines underneath the snow, but for the most part, they were somewhat visible. So, could you please ATTEMPT to park in them instead of taking up two or three parking spaces on a campus that is lacking in them anyway?

Oy vey. I sound stressed and really annoyed, but honestly I wasn't. I just rolled my eyes a few times, but didn't really care. The stupidity of people really just cracks me up.

Anyways, Thanksgiving was very nice. Minus the part where I told my mom to kiss my ass. Yup. She definetely went on Psycho Nazi Holiday Woman mode...though we weren't even hosting the holiday, so you figure out why exactly that happened. Anyways, that was cause enough for me to tell her where to shove her shitty attitude. But, other than that, the holiday was nice, as well as the weekend.

I did tons of Christmas shopping, maybe a bit too much, but now I'm almost done. Just a couple of people left to buy for. Wahoo.

All right. I think I'll go fill in my Africa map for Cultural Geography.
