Torrential rain in the forecast of life.

A while since my last update. I don't even really have the energy to update right now. But, I'm alive. I'm here. I'm hanging on. Barely.

My lovely mono like sickness came back last weekend. That makes it four weeks of being sick. Lovely. School is nuts. Was going well, even with the nuttiness, but now not so much due to the fact that my Grandpa's wife, Margaret (my step Grandma, my other Grandman died ten years ago) was admitted to the ICU on Friday. She wasn't expected to live through the night, but they've managed to stabilize her.

Her condition and her prognosis is still quite uncertain though. We've been at the hospital no less then eight hours a day since Friday. I'm tired. I'm sad. I'm overwhelmed.

When it rains it pours and, so far, 2004 is proving itself to be one of those years that will most likely have torrential rain in its forecast. It is also going to be one of those years that tests one's resolve as well as one's coping abilities.

I'll be all right though. I just need to sleep and try to relax.
